Vesicle

• A fluid-filled cavity or elevation less than 1 cm in diameter.
• Fluid may be clear, serous, hemorrhagic, or pus filled.

• 

  Tapioca-like vesicles of dyshidrotic eczema on the side of the finger.

• 

  Linear vesicles secondary to contact with poison ivy.

• 

  Small, fragile superficial vesicles typical of miliaria crystallina.

• 

  Vesicles with surrounding erythema in varicella (chickenpox).
